Pompei
Mokapot Design
Design Overview :
As coffee enthusiasts, we've embraced moka pot brewing for its simple, poetic process. The sight of coffee bubbling up and the rich aroma captures the moment perfectly. Our design, inspired by Pompeii, came to us during a visit to the Pompeii museum, where we admired the city's architectural style. Initially, we crafted the moka pot with a torus handle, but later revised it for better ergonomics.
Pompeii, an ancient city near Naples, was famously buried under volcanic ash during Mount Vesuvius' eruption in 79 AD, along with nearby Herculaneum and surrounding villas.
